A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR.
Dear Parents and Friends:
Thank you for contacting us via our web page and your interest in knowing about Saint Dominic School. I am very pleased to give you some information about our school.
In a few words, I can tell you that this is a private, catholic, bilingual English-Spanish school, located in the city of Managua, Nicaragua. Founded in 2000. The institution comprises Preschool, Elementary and High School. But, in order to describe it to you more fairly, I have to say that our school is a warm, caring place where everybody is delighted to belong to a great family compromised with serious learning in the search of knowledge by having an enjoyable experience. That is why our logo is “LEARNING WITH JOY.” We certainly live this because in Saint Dominic School everybody counts, especially the students. Everything functions around their needs, both educative and formative. And so, teachers and all other personnel of the school together with parents join their efforts to make sure that students grow in the right direction and get prepared for the future, the future that starts today!
Saint Dominic School students become fully proficient English speakers through the regular curriculum program. English as a Second Language classes are taught to student who enroll in Elementary grades with no knowledge of English. Students enrolling in High School (7th. -12th.) must master English language as a requirement for admission. A third language, such as French, is taught in 11th and 12th. grade with a 4 hrs.-weekly schedule. High School students are given university vocational preparation and exercised in learning skills necessary to be prepared for college.
We kindly invite you to call for an appointment. We will be willing to give you more detailed information about us.
